• We are seeking a Data Science Intern who has a deep passion for data ingestion, scheming, validation, analysis and modeling. You’ll partner with our Data Science, Machine Learning, and Platform teams to execute critical projects that will improve our ability to expand the Knock brand. You’ll get the chance to work with the first Data Science team in Alexandria!

As a Data Science Intern you will:

Dive deep into understanding data, reading through & creating documentation on our data, as well as reviewing tables, what they mean, and why they are populated.

Data Analysts, Data Scientists, and Machine Learning Engineers.

Optimize the data flow, collection process, and validation of data.

Use critical thinking to figure out the data that supports the work we are doing.

Be a data generalist – coding as well as playing with different kinds of data.

Be focused heavily on statistics – you’ll use your analytical mind & become the data junky you’ve always aspired to be.

We’re looking for interns who are:

Having a strong understanding of probability & statistics.

Proficient in any programming language for Data Science, preferably Python.

With a strong background in Machine Learning and Deep Learning different algorithms and techniques.

Completed quantitative coursework in subjects such as, statistics, probability, computer science, mathematics, engineering and/or natural or social sciences.

Proactive, with keen eye for details.

Self-motivated, able to work independently as well as with a remote team.

Able to communicate well with other team members.
