Siemens - Best In Class 2020 - Virtual Internship for Egyptian Students

“Best in class – Virtual edition: is a part-time virtual training program for undergraduates in the final years of engineering study in Egypt. Join this 1 month-long virtual internship starting in August 2020! 

Participants will be part virtual internship of either Smart Infrastructure or Digital Industries. 

Participants will have the opportunity to learn from our experts in Smart Infrastructure business units about smart energy distribution systems, smart grid technologies, electric cars infrastructure, smart buildings and smart city technologies and cyber security, among other Smart Infrastructure technologies. They will also participate in challenge and compete with other teams while being mentored from our experts.

Participants will have the opportunity to learn from our experts in Digital Industries business units about Factory automation, Process automation solutions, Motion control motors, Motion control drives, Process analytics & process instrumentation, Digitalization / Industry 4.0 technologies.

Pre-requisites: Current Students who will graduate in 2021

Excellent academic credentials in one of the following disciplines:

•        Electrical engineering

•        Power engineering

•        Communication engineering

•        Computer engineering

•        Mechanical & Mechatronic Engineering

Excellent Command of English.

Strong and stable internet connection

Personal computer / laptop with camera

What do I need to know?

Extracurricular activities are desirable.

Best in Class – Virtual Edition Program consists of 1 month.

This is a part-time online program that requires commitment of around 50% of your time during the period of 5 weeks starting from August (after Eid); times of the online sessions will be communicated to selected participants.
